京セラでは、信頼関係をベースとして経営が行われています。

その1つの例として、「時間あたり採算制度」では
全部門の経営成績が全社員に公開されています。
自分達のアメーバの利益がいくらで、その内容はどうなのかが
誰にでも容易に理解できるようになっています。
一方私達一人一人も同じように心をひらき、オープンに
仕事をすることを求められています。このように社内が
ガラス張りであることによって、私達は全力で仕事に
取り組むことができるのです。

is completely open to all employees,
so that there is no room for any doubt or question about the company.
As an example, our “Hourly Efficiency System”
makes every department’s management performance visible
to all employees. All workers know how much profit
their amoeba has made and how it has performed.
We also try to keep our hearts and
minds open in performing our work.
Since the entire company is transparent,
we can confidently devote ourselves to our respective tasks.

It is my belief that business managers
and leaders must always be cheerful
and positive no matter how adverse
the circumstances they face.
Business managers and leaders
often face one difficult problem
after another. The more challenging
the circumstances, the more important
it is to stay hopeful and optimistic
in order to successfully cope with
challenges and achieve positive results.
Leaders are called to display
a tremendous fighting spirit and
possess strong willpower and
determination in order to face down adversity.
This is why it is important for leaders to
be cheerful and positive every day.
Otherwise, they will not be able to
endure the difficulties of business
management over a long period of time.
While on the one hand, you must have
the unyielding determination to do
whatever it takes to achieve your goal;
on the other hand, you must also believe
that no matter what happens
there is a bright future waiting for you,
and thus live your life cheerfully and positively.
No matter what adversities you may
be facing right now, look at your life
in a positive light. That is the cardinal
rule of life and the crux of living as a manager.

6.感性的な悩みをしない
人生では、誰でも失敗を
しますし、間違いを起こします。
しかし、そうした過失を
繰り返しながら人は
成長していくのですから、
失敗をしても悔やみ
続ける必要はありません。
「覆水盆に返らず」という
言葉がありますように、
一度こぼれた水は元に
戻りません。
起こってしまったことを、
いつまでも思い
悩んでいても何の役にも
立ちません。
それどころか心の病の
もとになり、
人生を不幸なものに
してしまいます。
自分のどこが悪かった
のかは反省しなければ
なりませんが、
十分に反省した後は、
くよくよせずに新しい道を
歩み始めることが大切です。
済んだことに対して、
いつまでも悩み、
心労を重ねるのではなく、
理性で考え、
新たな行動に移るべきです。
そうすることが、
すばらしい人生を
切り拓いていくのです。

reflect upon your failures
so you can avoid repeating them.
However, there is
no need to prolong your remorse.
Emotional distress can
bring about mental
and physical illness.

deeply upon your actions,
you should move on
to new challenges
with swiftness and determination.
